Concept Design
Next, I develop mood boards, initial layout options, and overall design direction, and outline the preliminary scope and budget.
Design Development
After the design concept is developed, I provide detailed drawing sets and schedules for the project. Together we finalize all materials, finishes, and fixtures, then review and approve final budget.
Implementation
It's time to bring your vision to life! I will manage procurement and delivery of all items, coordinate with contractors and trades, and oversee the installation and final touches. Along the way, I keep you informed with regular project updates.
Initial Design Consultation
To get started, we will meet for a detailed consultation to understand your vision, answer questions, and create a comprehensive project proposal.
Project Kick Off
At this stage, I conduct an in-depth interview to confirm project scope, review the site survey or drawing, and gather inspiration and ideas.
Post Occupancy
After installation is complete, I conduct a final walkthrough to address any remaining details, and I provide you with a complete project binder for your records.
Frequently asked questions
Full Service Interior Design projects are larger scale and more complex than virtual one. Whole homes or multiple room projects with significant remodeling require a wide range of services. My full service option provides more detail and a lot more in-person contact. I will handle project co-ordination, site visits, bespoke furniture and cabinetry design and manufacturing, and manage a team of sub-consultants.
Virtual Design is a lighter approach, for projects that don't have so many complex moving parts. Virtual Design offers more flexibility to tackle one or two rooms at a time. For budget-minded clients, there is not a project minimum for virtual projects, while a minimum is necessary to make our Full Interior Design Service viable.

Concept Design Phase - 2-4 weeks minimum (will be determined once size and scope of project are known).
Design Development Phase - 4-6 weeks minimum (will be determined once size and scope of project are known).
Implementation - A Construction/Design Schedule will be provided after the design development phase on an estimated plan of how long this phase will take.
What is a typical full service design project duration or timeline?
Deep Dive Interview - An in depth walk through of the project to discuss and confirm the scope outline in more detail. We will also use this time to discuss style options as well as wants and needs for the spaces.
Site Survey - This meeting is used to collect dimensions, photos, and inventory of any items to repurpose or include in the new design.
Showroom and Supplier Meetings - To pick up and view samples with or on behalf of the client.
Presentation Review Meetings - Meetings can be done in person or remotely to review and discuss feedback on the Concept Design Presentation and the Design Development Presentation, and any final revision reviews.
Trade Day - Review design and preliminary RFQ’s for the contractor or trades.
Pre-Construction Meeting with Contractor- Initial meeting with contractor to review final drawings/revisions.
Site Visits & Coordination - Regular site visits to monitor design, progress, and to address issues as they arise.
